Coral Colors A contains iodine and other halogens that are associated with many biological processes, including the production of pink pigments in the soft tissue of corals.

The halogens act as both antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue and mucous layer of the coral, reducing the likelihood of coral bleaching.

In an active reef system, these elements are depleted very quickly due to their high oxidative capacity and their ability to react to organic matter. Iodine and bromine are linked to the pink chromoprotein pocciloporin.

Dosage:
1 ml increases the iodine value to 100 liters by 0.03 ppm
